First impressions always count was a saying taken on board by Masters at Grand Designs Live at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre last week. As a major sponsor, Masters showcased a range of its display kitchens with built-in appliances from the likes of Bosch and Electrolux.
Masters Home Improvement Kitchen Buyer, Leo Pearson told www.connectedaustralia.com, “Masters has been present at a number of home shows previously, but this is our first year at Grand Designs. We are really hoping to grow our brand awareness among Australian consumers. These exhibitions are ideal for visitors to really understand who we are and what we do, and how we differentiate from our competitors.
“We often advertise in home magazines but we do not have a large enough presence on the east coast of Australia to afford a larger investment in channels such as television commercials. However, we are opening two new stores this December, one in St Marys and one in Gosford.
As part of its stand (behind the scenes), the company used a 3D printer for consumers to get a “real-to-life” model of their dream kitchen designs.
“Visitors can tell us what they want and we can make a 3D model off the plan for them to see what they like or don’t like.
“The location of our stand is perfect because we are right near the entrance for everyone to see.
Fisher & Paykel were also present with the same stand used for the Good Food and Wine Show (GF&WS) earlier this year. The company focused on providing clever concepts, such as having a cool drawer in a cabinet in the lounge room, for consumers to replicate in the home.
Laurastar also made an appearance at the exhibition for the second time.
